Ensure you meet all four eligibility requirements before applying. This means we will recommend treatment, and the CDCP will determine if it will be covered. This pre-approval must occur before receiving the treatment. The decision will consider your oral health history and medical conditions. Services and additional treatments requiring prior approval will be available in November 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Examples of services that could be covered under the CDCP when recommended by an oral health provider include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnostic and preventive services<\/li>\n<li>Basic services<\/li>\n<li>Major services<\/li>\n<li>Anesthesia or sedation services<\/li>\n<li>Orthodontic services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information on services covered, consult the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/services\/benefits\/dental\/dental-care-plan\/guide.html\">CDCP Dental Benefits.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Coverage Amount<\/h2>\n<p>The CDCP will cover a portion of your treatment costs but may not cover the entire amount.
